Returns Policy

Kuwait Consumer Protection Law No. 39 of 2014

This Returns Policy is framed in accordance with Kuwait's Consumer Protection Law No. 39 of 2014 and the Law No. 20 of 2014 on Electronic Transactions. It sets out the goods you may return, the timeframe, and the conditions that apply.

1. Your right to return

You may return most non-living, non-custom items purchased from www.terragarden.com within fourteen (14) days of delivery, provided the item is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

2. Items that cannot be returned

Because of their nature, the following items are not eligible for return:

  • Live plants, cut flowers, and any other perishable botanical goods, which are covered instead by our Plant Health Guarantee (see Section 5).
  • Custom-commissioned terrariums, green walls, and bespoke landscaping installations, which are considered customised goods under Kuwait's consumer protection regulations.
  • Open or used bags of soil, fertiliser, substrate, and liquid feeds where hygiene or product integrity cannot be verified.
  • Gift cards and digital vouchers.

3. How to request a return

Within 14 days of delivery, contact us with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and a short reason:

We will confirm eligibility and arrange a collection from any Kuwaiti governorate. Please keep the item in its original packaging until collection.

4. Return collection and costs

  • If the return is due to a Terra Garden error (wrong item sent, incorrect listing, manufacturing defect): collection is free and a full refund or replacement is issued.
  • If the return is a change of mind within the 14-day window for an eligible item: a collection fee in KWD may apply, deducted from the refund.

5. Plant Health Guarantee (live plants)

Although live plants are not eligible for a standard return, Terra Garden offers a 14-day Plant Health Guarantee. If a plant arrives unhealthy or fails to recover within 14 days of delivery despite reasonable care, contact us with photographs. Subject to confirmation from our horticulturists, we will replace the plant or issue a store credit. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by neglect, unsuitable placement, pests introduced after delivery, or deliberate harm.

6. Condition of returned items

Returned items must be:

  • In the original packaging.
  • Unused and with all accessories, care cards, and labels included.
  • In resaleable condition.

Items returned outside these conditions may be refused, partially refunded, or returned to the sender at your cost.

7. Inspection and confirmation

Once we receive the returned item we will inspect it within 3 working days and notify you by WhatsApp or email whether the return has been accepted. Refunds are processed under the Refund Policy.
