Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about plants, green walls, maintenance, delivery and working with Terra Garden in Kuwait.

Do you import plants?

Yes. We import regularly from leading international nurseries and maintain direct relationships with specialist growers in Europe and Asia. If a species is not in our Kuwait stock, we can usually bring it in on request.

Do you rent plants?

Yes. We offer short-term and long-term plant rental for events, offices, photoshoots and temporary installations. Rental includes delivery, setup, ongoing care and collection.

Do you maintain plants for offices and homes?

Yes. Our maintenance team services both corporate clients and private residences under monthly and annual plans. We cover watering, pruning, fertilising, pest control and plant replacement when needed.

Are banks and oil-sector companies your clients?

Yes. Terra Garden is the preferred supplier for corporate gifting and interior plants across Kuwait's banking and oil sectors. We serve most major institutions in these industries.

Do you design and install green walls?

Yes, and we do it end-to-end. Design, engineering, plant selection, installation and long-term maintenance are all handled by our own team — we do not outsource. We are one of the few truly specialised green-wall implementers in the region.

What types of green walls do you offer?

Suspended systems, self-watering walls, fully automated irrigation, thin-profile walls for tight spaces, preserved plant walls for zero-maintenance environments, and exotic living walls for statement spaces. We choose the system that fits your space, light and budget.

Do you install plant irrigation systems?

Yes. We design, install and maintain irrigation systems for gardens, indoor planters and green walls — from simple drip lines to fully automated recirculation systems with fertigation and remote monitoring.

Where are you located?

Our showroom and workshop are at Rai Center, Shop 13 & 14, Al Rai, Kuwait. Call or WhatsApp +965 99448116 for directions or visit our contact page for the map.

Do you deliver across Kuwait?

Yes, we deliver across all six Kuwaiti governorates (Capital, Hawalli, Farwaniya, Mubarak Al-Kabeer, Ahmadi, Jahra). Free delivery on orders above 30 KWD. Below that, delivery is a fixed KWD fee confirmed at checkout.

Do you do corporate gifting?

Yes. Corporate plant gifting is one of our largest service lines. We handle custom branding, bulk orders, scheduled delivery and repeat seasonal programs for banks, oil companies and other large clients.

Which plants survive Kuwait's indoor conditions?

The right choice depends on light, AC proximity and humidity. As a starting point: ZZ plants, snake plants, pothos, Chinese evergreens and many philodendrons thrive in typical Kuwait interiors. For specific conditions, our team can recommend a tailored palette.

How do I get a quote?

Contact us through the website form, call or WhatsApp +965 99448116, or email [email protected]. For green walls and larger projects, we usually begin with a site visit to take measurements and assess conditions before quoting.

What payment methods do you accept in Kuwait?

We accept KNET, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and cash on delivery across Kuwait. For corporate and palace-scale projects we also issue KWD invoices against bank transfer with your civil or commercial registration. All prices on the site are in Kuwaiti Dinar and include VAT where applicable.

How do I care for a plant during Ramadan travel?

Before you travel, move the plant out of direct sun, water it deeply until it drains, and group it with others to slow evaporation. For trips longer than a week, we recommend a self-watering insert or a short-term maintenance visit — our Ramadan schedule runs throughout the month with flexible evening timing so we can come after iftar if you prefer.

Can I schedule delivery around my diwaniya opening or majlis event?

Yes. Tell us the event date and time when you place the order and we'll align delivery and set-up to the hour — whether that's a Thursday night diwaniya, a Hala February opening, or a wedding majlis. For large orders we can also do a same-day installation with our own team rather than leaving boxes at your door.

Do you offer plant-care training or workshops in Kuwait?

Yes. We run small-group terrarium-building workshops at our Al Rai workshop, and we offer on-site care training for household staff, office facilities teams, and villa garden keepers. Sessions are bilingual (English and Arabic) and can be scheduled around your weekly routine.

How do I set up an office plant subscription for my company in Kuwait?

Send us your floor plan or photos via the contact form or WhatsApp. We'll suggest a plant set sized to your space and light, then quote a monthly KWD subscription that covers delivery, watering, feeding, pruning and plant replacement. Most office contracts run Sunday–Thursday during working hours, with reporting tied to your facilities team.

Can you deliver plants to chalets in Khiran, Nuwaiseeb, or Bnaider?

Yes. We deliver to coastal chalets in Khiran, Nuwaiseeb, Bnaider, Julai'a, and Sabah Al-Ahmad Sea City. Delivery is scheduled by appointment (usually Thursday afternoon or Friday morning before the weekend rush) and carries a small KWD surcharge on top of standard delivery, confirmed at checkout.

Do you handle palace-scale landscaping projects?

Yes. We design and deliver palace-scale interior and exterior landscaping — including majlis plantings, atrium installations, private greenhouse commissions, and fully automated irrigation — with long-term KWD maintenance contracts. These projects are quoted individually after a site visit and design brief.

What happens if my plant gets pests after delivery?

Contact us within 14 days and send a photo via WhatsApp. Most pest issues (mealybug, scale, fungus gnats) clear up with a treatment we can do on a single site visit. If the plant was delivered with an existing infestation we couldn't have reasonably detected, we replace it free under our returns policy.

Can I return a terrarium if it doesn't match my diwaniya décor?

Pre-built terrariums can be returned within 14 days if unopened and undamaged. Bespoke terrariums built to your spec are non-returnable once delivered, but we'll happily work with you before build on stone colour, glass shape and plant palette so the finished piece fits the diwaniya. See our returns policy for details.

Do you deliver during Hala February or National Day festivities?

Yes. We run a dedicated delivery schedule through Hala February, National Day (25 February) and Liberation Day (26 February), including Friday and Saturday slots. Order at least three days before your event so we can reserve a delivery window — these weeks book out fast.

Are your plants safe for cats and children?

It depends on the species. ZZ plants, snake plants, pothos, philodendrons and dieffenbachia are mildly toxic if chewed, while spider plants, calatheas, marantas, parlour palms and most herbs are considered pet- and child-safe. Tell us who shares the room and we'll recommend a safe palette — this is a common request for Kuwait family villas.

What's the difference between cache-pot use and direct transplant?

A cache-pot keeps the plant in its nursery pot and slips both inside a decorative outer pot — quick to swap, easy to rotate through the villa, and safer for the plant. A direct transplant moves the root ball into the decorative pot itself and needs proper drainage, soil choice and long-term care. For most Kuwait apartments we recommend cache-pot use; for villa atriums and statement trees, transplant makes sense.

How do I clean dust off indoor plants during shamal season?

During shamal weeks, wipe broad-leaved plants (monstera, ficus, dieffenbachia) every 7–10 days with a soft damp cloth, and rinse small-leaved plants under the shower at room temperature. Keep windows closed on heavy dust days and run the AC on fan mode to filter the air. A monthly maintenance visit will include dust-off as standard.

Can I pay in cash on delivery in Kuwait?

Yes. Cash on delivery in Kuwaiti Dinar is available on all orders delivered inside Kuwait. Please have the exact amount ready where possible — our delivery team carries limited change. For orders above 200 KWD we recommend KNET or bank transfer for security.

Do you offer a loyalty or referral programme?

Yes. Returning customers and corporate clients are enrolled in our Terra Garden loyalty track automatically — you'll see discounted KWD rates on repeat maintenance visits and seasonal corporate gifting. Referral credits apply when a friend or neighbour books a green wall or maintenance contract and mentions your name at quote stage.
