Site visit & brief

One of our principals visits the site, measures, photographs, and documents light levels, HVAC zones, and circulation.

Design concept

Two design boards with plant palette, hardware specification, maintenance cadence, and KWD-priced options.

Installation

In-house installation team. Drip irrigation and grow-light where required. Post-install walkthrough with facilities.

Maintenance contract

Monthly or quarterly visits, plant replacement warranty, annual rebuild option. Fixed-fee KWD pricing, no surprises.

Single point of contact

One principal from brief to year-five maintenance. The same person who signed the brief answers the phone a year later.

Why Terra Garden

Founded 2012. Studio in Rai, Kuwait. We have designed and installed green walls, terrariums, and botanical environments for the Amiri Diwan, for Bayan Palace, for banking and oil-sector HQs, for luxury hotels, and for private residences across all six governorates.

We don't subcontract the work. Our designers, installers, and maintenance team are all in-house — the same people across the life of the project. That is how we stand behind the five-year warranty we write into every contract.

Our specialisation is narrow on purpose. We focus on living installations so deeply that we can engineer for Kuwait's specific light, water hardness, and AC patterns. A green wall we installed in 2014 is still maintained by the same team today.

How a commission typically runs

Day 0

WhatsApp or email brief. We respond the same working day.

Day 1–7

Site visit scheduled. Principal attends. Leave-behind of reference projects.

Day 7–21

Two design boards delivered with plant palette, hardware, KWD pricing, and maintenance cadence.

Day 21–60

Build + installation scheduled. Typical office wall: 3–7 days on-site. Palace multi-room: 4–12 weeks.

Month 2+

Maintenance contract begins. Monthly or quarterly visits depending on installation scale.

Yes — Capital, Hawalli, Farwaniya, Ahmadi, Jahra, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer. Chalet installations in Al-Khiran, Julai'a, Ras Al-Subiya, and Khairan Pearl are also supported with advance scheduling.

Every proposal is priced in KWD with installation, hardware, and first-year maintenance broken out separately. Commissions under 2 KWD per m² of green wall per month for ongoing maintenance are achievable at scale. We do not publish floor pricing — brief size and complexity vary too much — but we commit to transparent line-item quotes.

Every maintenance contract includes a plant replacement warranty. Planned loss (maturity, seasonal cycling) is scheduled into the contract; unplanned loss is replaced at our cost under the first-year warranty.

Yes — discretion is standard for palace and private villa work. We have executed installations under NDA for principals in banking, hospitality, and private residences. References are offered only on explicit client approval.

For a standard office wall, 3–4 weeks from brief to install. For gifting at scale (terrariums, potted arrangements), 10–14 days from PO to delivery. For palace-scale multi-space commissions, lead time is agreed as part of the contract but typically 8–16 weeks.
