The amount and placement of pale colour differ naturally between leaves and specimens. Give it bright, indirect light to support balanced growth while protecting lighter tissue from harsh direct sun. Use an airy, free-draining mix and water when the upper layer begins to dry, then allow excess water to escape. Provide a sturdy pole as the stem develops, and keep the plant away from cold AC drafts. Its changing foliage makes each stage of growth visually distinctive.
