Howea Forsteriana in Kuwait, commonly called the Kentia palm, is an elegant indoor palm with arching, feathery fronds and a calm upright presence. It can tolerate moderate indoor light, although bright, indirect light supports fuller growth. Keep the potting mix evenly moist without leaving it waterlogged, allowing the top few centimetres to dry before watering again. Ensure the container drains freely and reduce watering when growth slows. Protect the palm from harsh direct sun, hot enclosed positions, and direct cold AC airflow, which can contribute to browning tips. Dust the fronds gently when needed. It makes a timeless floor plant for homes, offices, and reception areas.
