It is best placed in bright, indirect light, away from direct sun that can scorch or fade the pattern. Keep the potting mix evenly moist but not saturated, and use filtered water where possible to reduce mineral build-up on sensitive leaves. Warm, stable conditions and comfortable humidity support better growth, while cold AC drafts should be avoided. This is a more attentive-care plant, but its precise patterned foliage makes a striking feature on a side table or plant stand.
