Rhaphidophora Cryptantha
Cryptantha is a meandering aroid that loves to grow upward. The plants are very small until they find a piece of wood or vertical surface to grow on. These are excellent terrarium plants with a beautiful, silvery variegated pattern. At maturity, when growing up a totem, leaves reach 1 to 2 inches in diameter.
Light:
Rhaphidophora Cryptantha requires a 70-85% light exposure. In the cooler Southern areas of Australia, it is possible to grow these plants but they do best when places in a glasshouse or hot house.
Water:
Water the plant after the soil gets at least 70% dry in summer and 90% or completely dry in winter.
Care:
We usually share an estimate of the watering schedule. This is meant to help you out with the watering frequency. On warm days of the growing season, water the plant mildly, about three to four times a week. A water spray throughout the plant body will be an ideal practice. Alternatively, twice week water spraying is enough to keep the game going in the winter.
