Monstera Variegated
requires similar care to that of the solid green Monstera deliciosa. The main difference is the white portion of the variegated Monstera leaves cannot absorb light, so the plant needs to work twice as hard to photosynthesize.
Light:
low light conditions are not ideal and you should keep your variegated Monstera in bright ambient light to make it happy. Monsteras appreciate a warm, humid environment, a good amount of water and gentle sunlight.
Water:
as you would water most of your houseplants. About once a week is sufficient in most conditions. Make sure that the water is draining quickly and keep it slightly damp. The Variegated Monstera Deliciosa does not like to stay wet for too long.
Care:
Deliciosa thrives in increased humidity above 60%, well-draining soil, and temperatures between 65-80ºF (18-27ºC). Fertilize monthly during Spring and Summer with a good balanced 20-20-20 NPK-Fertilizer. Do not fertilize in Autumn and Winter months.
