Calathea Medallion
During the day the Calathea’s leaves open up to absorb as much light as possible, and then fold up in a resting position at night, reminiscent of hands folded in prayer.
Light:
will do best in medium to bright indirect light. Never allow this plant to stand in the direct sunlight—the leaves will get sunburned!
Water:
maintain a regular watering schedule and keep your Calathea Medallion moist, but not wet or saturated.
Care:
-
In prime conditions, Calatheas grow relatively fast and can reach up to two feet in height
-
Fertilize your Calathea 1-2 times per month in the spring and summer with indoor plant food, or foliar feed year.
